Required Documents for Legal Number Plates

To comply with UK law, we must verify your identity and entitlement to the registration number before producing any road-legal number plates.

You will need to provide one document from each of the following categories:

1️⃣ Proof of Identity (any one of the following):

• Driving licence (preferred)
• Passport
• Utility bill, Council Tax or bank statement (issued within the last 6 months)
• National ID card
• Debit or credit card

2️⃣ Proof of Entitlement to the Registration Number (any one of the following):

• Vehicle Registration Certificate (V5C or logbook)
• V750 Certificate of Entitlement (for a private plate)
• V778 Retention Document
• Vehicle tax reminder (V11) or temporary registration certificate (V379)
• Official letter from DVLA or leasing company showing the registration number

✅ Both documents must be clear and valid copies.

We cannot legally produce road-legal number plates until these are received and verified.
